WHEELDRIVE – Foton continues to expand the development of electric commercial vehicles in Indonesia through the introduction of eVIEW CONNECT, a van-based electric vehicle designed to support modern distribution needs, particularly last-mile delivery activities in urban areas.
Through its participation in GIICOMVEC 2026, Foton reaffirms its commitment to providing efficient, practical, and sustainable business mobility solutions for various industrial sectors.
“Foton is committed to delivering commercial vehicle solutions that are not only innovative, but also relevant to today’s business needs. Through electric vehicles, we aim to ensure operations that are more efficient, sustainable, and reliable,” said Luis Huo from Foton Global.
Specifically designed to support urban distribution needs, eVIEW CONNECT features a compact design and optimized cargo space, offering high flexibility for mobility in densely populated urban areas.
In terms of performance, the eVIEW CONNECT is equipped with a battery capacity of approximately 50 kWh, delivering a driving range of up to 300 km based on WLTC testing. This capacity allows the vehicle to support daily distribution activities with frequent stop-and-go operations.
To improve operational efficiency, the eVIEW CONNECT is equipped with DC fast-charging technology, enabling charging in approximately 35 minutes. With this capability, the vehicle can quickly return to operation with minimal downtime, helping businesses maintain optimal productivity.
In addition, the eVIEW CONNECT comes with a range of connectivity features and driver assistance systems, including vehicle monitoring technology, active safety systems, and screen-based controls that support operational efficiency and safety in daily use.
Edi Napis, COO of Foton Indonesia, explained that the presence of the eVIEW CONNECT is part of Foton’s strategy to provide practical electric vehicle solutions tailored to the needs of the Indonesian market.
“Through the introduction of eVIEW CONNECT, we aim to provide solutions that focus not only on the vehicle itself, but also on overall business efficiency. Foton is here as a partner for business players in navigating the transition toward more sustainable mobility,” he explained.
The introduction of eVIEW CONNECT reflects Foton’s commitment to building an integrated electric commercial vehicle ecosystem capable of supporting the operational needs of modern businesses in Indonesia.
