WHEELDRIVE – Indonesian premium transportation operator Juragan99 Trans has officially launched the country’s first luxury “rolling cinema” bus, introducing a groundbreaking In-Road Entertainment concept during Busworld Southeast Asia 2026 at Jakarta International Expo (JIEXPO) Kemayoran.
Developed in collaboration with leading Indonesian coachbuilder Laksana, the new premium sleeper bus combines luxury travel, immersive entertainment technology, and smart digital connectivity, setting a new benchmark for the future of intercity bus transportation in Indonesia.
The launch strengthens Juragan99 Trans’ position as one of Southeast Asia’s most innovative premium bus operators, particularly in the growing luxury sleeper bus segment.
Unlike conventional intercity transportation, the new Juragan99 Trans fleet transforms long-distance travel into an immersive entertainment experience. The bus features a specially designed projection system in every cabin, creating an exclusive cinematic ambience similar to a private movie theater on wheels while remaining comfortable for passengers during long journeys.
The company calls the concept “In-Road Entertainment,” a next-generation onboard experience designed to combine comfort, technology, and personalized digital services inside a moving premium coach.
One of the standout features is the Live View Journey system, allowing passengers to watch real-time road conditions directly from the driver’s perspective through cabin monitors. The feature creates a front-row travel sensation even for passengers seated at the rear of the bus.
The luxury bus is also equipped with an intelligent personalized greeting system that automatically displays each passenger’s name on the private cabin monitor upon boarding. To support uninterrupted digital entertainment, Juragan99 Trans has integrated Equal Speed Distribution Wi-Fi technology, ensuring stable and balanced internet connectivity for every passenger without buffering interruptions.
Founder of Juragan99 Trans and J99 Corp, Gilang Widya Pramana, stated that the innovation reflects the company’s long-term commitment to modernizing Indonesia’s land transportation industry.

According to Laksana, the collaboration demonstrates Indonesia’s growing capability in advanced bus manufacturing and luxury coach engineering.

Built on a premium European chassis platform, the new luxury fleet features Sleeper Bus Suites Class and First Class configurations designed for long-distance intercity travel.
Since launching operations in 2018, Juragan99 Trans has continued expanding its premium transportation network across Indonesia. The company currently operates 60 premium buses serving strategic routes including Jakarta–Malang–Surabaya, Malang–Bandung, Surabaya–Denpasar, and nationwide tourism services.
