Announced in Beijing on April 14, 2026, the launch highlights Hyundai’s long term commitment to the rapidly growing electric vehicle EV sector in China, supported by a broader vision that extends beyond products into a fully integrated mobility ecosystem tailored to local consumers.

At the same event, Hyundai unveiled two new IONIQ concept cars, the VENUS Concept sedan and the EARTH Concept SUV, offering a clear preview of the brand’s future direction ahead of Auto China 2026.

Developed specifically for the Chinese market, both vehicles embody Hyundai’s Lead, don’t follow philosophy through distinctive single curve silhouettes and bold, recognizable designs.

The VENUS Concept stands out as a premium electric sedan inspired by the brilliance of the brightest planet, featuring a Radiant Gold exterior, aerodynamic form, lightweight structural roof, and a transparent spoiler, while its interior combines layered ambient lighting, premium suede materials, gold chrome accents, and an interactive AI character named Lumi to create a refined and engaging driving experience.
