OMODA & JAECOO reported global sales of 61,254 units in March 2026, marking more than double year-on-year growth and setting a new monthly sales record for the brand.

Rising Demand for Electrification and Practical Mobility Solutions

According to Jim Ma, Business Unit Director of JAECOO Indonesia, similar trends are beginning to emerge in Indonesia.

“We are seeing growing interest in electrified vehicles and NEVs. At the same time, consumers are looking for solutions that remain practical and relevant to their daily needs. This is where technologies like the Super Hybrid System (SHS) play a crucial role, offering both efficiency and flexibility,” he explained.

He further emphasized that this approach has contributed significantly to JAECOO’s global acceptance.

“SHS enables users to experience the benefits of electrification without drastically changing their driving habits. This makes it a more realistic step toward fully electric mobility,” he added.

Super Hybrid System (SHS): Bridging Efficiency and Performance

JAECOO’s Super Hybrid System (SHS) is engineered to integrate the strengths of electric power and internal combustion engines into one seamless system.

Under certain driving conditions, the vehicle operates using electric power for maximum efficiency. At the same time, the combustion engine provides support to maintain performance and extend driving range, delivering a flexible driving experience without range anxiety.
