WHEELDRIVE – Geely Auto Group’s premium electric vehicle (EV) brand, strengthened its global positioning in the luxury EV segment by showcasing its latest lineup and advanced technologies at Auto China 2026.
The showcase highlights ZEEKR’s growing influence in the global EV market, including Southeast Asia and Indonesia, following its official debut at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2026 with the ZEEKR 009 and ZEEKR 7X.
At Auto China 2026, ZEEKR introduced its flagship models, including the latest ZEEKR 009 luxury electric MPV, alongside the ZEEKR 8X and ZEEKR 9X high-performance SUVs. These models represent ZEEKR’s expansion across premium MPV and SUV segments, combining electric and hybrid powertrains.
The updated ZEEKR 009 is now available in a seven-seater configuration, targeting premium family and executive mobility needs. Designed for both daily driving and long-distance travel, the luxury electric MPV offers improved cabin layout, enhanced passenger access, and elevated comfort features. In China, the six-seater ZEEKR 009 has ranked among the best-selling luxury EV MPVs over the past two years, with growing adoption in markets such as Hong Kong and Southeast Asia.
Meanwhile, the ZEEKR 8X and ZEEKR 9X strengthen the brand’s presence in the high-performance SUV segment. Built on Geely’s Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA-S), both SUVs deliver a combination of power, efficiency, and long-range driving capability. The ZEEKR 8X features a 900V architecture and a tri-motor system producing up to 1,030 kW, enabling 0–100 km/h acceleration in just 2.96 seconds—positioning it among the fastest hybrid SUVs globally.
The ZEEKR 9X has also demonstrated strong market performance in China, consistently contributing around one-third of total sales in the premium hybrid SUV segment priced above 500,000 yuan. This performance makes it a key contributor to ZEEKR’s growth in the luxury SUV category.

All showcased models are based on ZEEKR’s SEA platform and Super Electric Hybrid technology, which serve as the foundation for its global EV strategy. The platform supports high safety standards, over-the-air (OTA) updates, and adaptability across different international markets, including Indonesia.
ZEEKR also integrates an AI-powered digital chassis system to enhance driving stability, comfort, and intelligent driving capabilities. This technology is expected to play a key role in future advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), which are increasingly important for premium EV buyers.
In addition to its flagship vehicles, ZEEKR displayed models such as the ZEEKR 007, 007 GT, and 001 Anniversary Edition, showcasing the brand’s rapid expansion across electric sedan, GT, and luxury vehicle segments.
For Indonesia, ZEEKR’s presence at Auto China 2026 signals its long-term commitment to the premium EV market. Following the introduction of the ZEEKR 009 and 7X, more models and technologies are expected to enter the Indonesian market, aligning with Geely Group’s strategy to expand its premium electric vehicle portfolio in Southeast Asia.
